Account and data deletion
JarWise stores your financial data only on your device. An account exists on our servers only if you chose to sign in with Google or email. This page explains what is stored and how to delete it.
What is stored outside your device?
- If you signed in: your email address and a unique user identifier (UID), managed by Firebase Authentication, together with the information needed to recognize your Pro Plan.
- If you use Google Drive backup: the backup file is stored in your own Google Drive account. We have no access to it.
- Nothing else. Income, expenses, jars and payments live only on your phone. AI Assistant queries are not stored permanently.
How to delete your account
- Email us at [email protected] from the same address you used to sign in, with the subject “Delete JarWise account”.
- We delete your Firebase Authentication account (email and UID) and any data linked to the Pro Plan within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.
- If you had an active Pro Plan, the subscription is managed by Google Play and can be cancelled at any time from Play Store → Payments & subscriptions.
How to delete the data stored on your device
- Erase everything from the app: use the reset or delete-data option in JarWise settings.
- Uninstall the app: uninstalling removes all local data.
- Google Drive backups: open Google Drive with your account and delete the JarWise backup file. You can also revoke the app’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
